Puzzle Cube Challenge

The problem that I had to solve was that we had to construct a product with the scraps that the furniture throws away because the company is losing money. The given constrains of the problem were the puzzle must be fabricated from 27, 3/4" hardwood cubes, puzzle system must contain exactly five puzzle pieces, each individual puzzle piece must consist of at least three, but no more than six hardwood cubes that are permanently attached to each other.
In order to solve the problem first I had to brainstorm some ideas and examples for the product. Then, I had to draw sketches of the product on a paper. Finally, I had to construct the product and build it together.
What I really liked about the project was that we got to work with a partner and also construct the product. One thing that I would change about the project would be that the cubes should be a larger size. Finally, the most challenging thing that I had to do in this project was to construct five pieces with no more than six pieces.

Presentation Skills..

I believe it is important for us to have strong presentation skills because it will affect you in college, and you wont be shy speaking around people. You wont have trouble stuttering in front of people and it will increase your speaking skills. Many teachers give poor lectures because of poor skills. Its important to have strong presentation skills so you can have a great job interview.

I learned in Engineering

I feel that I have learned a lot in engineering class because I learned many things that are new to me. I learned how to build a robot and learned how to make it move forward, backward, left, and right even turn in a complete circle. I also learned about global warming and solar energy. I learned of the different types of engineering such as chemical, architectural, and many more. I learned how to build a interesting bridge. Soon I will learn how to build a solar panel car.

Solar Panel Cars

Solar powered cars all get their fuel from the Sun. The cars use hundreds of photovoltaic cells to convert sunlight into electricity. Each cell produces about one-half volt of electricity. The Sun's energy powers the car's motor and charges a battery for use when the Sun is hidden by a cloud.

Disadvantages of using Solar Panels

The disadvantages of using solar panels in houses is that solar panels are super expensive. Solar panels normally do not work over the night. If your solar power goes out, you can’t just call the power company. Cloudy areas may not get enough sun exposure, so it wont be good to have solar panels.

Pros and Cons of Solar Energy

I support using solar energy because solar panels don't give off pollution. The production of energy from the use of fossil and some renewable fuels can be noisy, yet solar energy produces electricity very quietly.

My weekend

My weekend was fun. I had my quince on Saturday I was so nervous my stomach hurt so much, but it turned out to be exciting. I was glad I had my friends and family there at my party. That Saturday was a memorable day.

welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog my name is Brittany Denise Guerra. I am doing this blog to learn about solar energy and to make a professional blog. I am doing this blog for my engineering class.

Solar Energy

Some families have already started using solar panels for there house. Solar panels are expensive but its worth getting it because you will notice your bill will go lower and lower. Your carbon print will go lower by using solar energy. They are making other solar object like cars.
